OPES 2.0 learning from the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators

On Sept. 8, the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA) will offer two sessions titled “Now Trending: Navigating OPES 2.0.”

Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, all administrators will be evaluated under OPES 2.0, based on the Ohio 2018 Principal Standards. This half-day training helps administrators navigate the revised OPES 2.0 evaluation process with a focus on the following:

• An overview of the evaluation process;
• Types of evidence to use to illustrate each standard;
• How to use the online reporting system (Ohio ES); and
• Integration of high-quality student data into the OPES 2.0 model.
