Sign up for the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge by Aug. 7

Schools can join the next phase of the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge until Aug. 7, offering students in grades 3-8 a fun and exciting way to get active and learn all about health and wellness. The next phase of the challenge begins Aug. 31.

Webinar series and resources focus on supports to strengthen student attendance

Resources are available for schools and districts to support students at risk of chronic absence, including upcoming webinars detailing comprehensive attendance supports.

Correct certain Fiscal Year 2026 data through Aug. 14

Certain data that may affect the 2026 Ohio School Report Cards, as well as state funding for districts, can be corrected from Aug. 6-14. This will be the only opportunity to correct these data, which must be officially submitted by superintendents.

The Department is accepting applications for updates to the approved list of high-quality instructional materials and core curriculum in English language arts for preK-grade 5 and evidence-based reading intervention programs in preK-grade 12. Upcoming webinars will support vendor deadlines.
