Parents, caregivers, grandparents and more invited to apply for statewide program

The Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center at The Ohio State University is accepting applications from Ohio parents and certain caregivers for the 2026 State Advisory Council.

The council is a group of about 50 representatives of parents/caregivers of a child enrolled in Ohio public schools (K-12). Those roles may include parents, grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, and other caregivers from urban, rural, and suburban areas. The council also includes school leaders, representatives of community organizations, and ambassadors from businesses and other community agencies.
