Professional learning series launches: Empowering Central Office and School Leader Collaboration to Accelerate Learning for All Students
12/2/2025
Registration now open for school leadership development opportunity
Ideal for district administrators, central office personnel, and school leaders, a new professional learning series is sponsored by the Central Office Inclusive Instructional Leadership project (COIIL). COIIL is coordinated through the University of Cincinnati Systems Development and Improvement Center with support from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
The series offers a unique opportunity for teams to align their efforts, elevate instructional impact, and lead systemic improvement from the classroom to the district level. Districts are strongly encouraged to send teams of central office and school-level leaders.
Transform learning across the district by:
- Strengthening collaboration between central office and school-level leaders
- Using leadership practices that accelerate learning for all children in literacy and math
- Building coaching capacity across teams
- Improving understanding of Ohio’s integrated Multi-Tiered System of Supports
Sessions are from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Dec. 4, Jan. 16, Feb. 5, March 10, and April 2, led by expert facilitator Daryl Michel, PhD, from the University of Texas-Austin. He is also the Founder of Be A Change, LLC, and coauthor of Student-Focused Coaching.
