STEM and STEAM webinar to cover updated Ohio Quality Model

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce will lead a Dec. 10 webinar covering the updated Ohio Quality Model for STEM and STEAM Education for school leaders and educators from 9-10:15 a.m.

The updated framework features three key practice areas that help shape high-quality STEM and STEAM learning environments: Culture for Learning, Teaching and Learning, and Pathways to Success in Careers.

The webinar will provide helpful direction and resources for district and school leaders, classroom educators, instructional coaches, and STEM specialists who wish to improve their students’ STEM and STEAM experiences.

Teams and teachers exploring STEM and STEAM designation will also find the webinar useful, as the session will detail how the Quality Model aligns with current STEM and STEAM School Designation Rubrics.
