Team Tressel Fitness Challenge Round 2 TeamTressel.Ohio.gov

Registration extended for round two of the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge

12/9/2025

Extended deadline for statewide student fitness initiative

With more schools in Ohio continuing to sign up for the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge every day, Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel is extending the round two deadline to Dec. 12. This next round will begin in February.

All Ohio schools with students in grades 3-8 are encouraged to sign up now at TeamTressel.Ohio.gov

The challenge has inspired more than a hundred thousand young Ohioans to create lasting, healthy habits in fitness, nutrition, and sleep through individual goal setting. Over 700 schools with almost 183,000 students participated in the first round of the challenge this fall. Participating schools saw strong engagement from students, excitement from staff, and positive feedback from families.

The challenge is open to all Ohio students in grades 3-8 and is free of cost to schools. Find more details about the challenge below, or sign up today at TeamTressel.Ohio.gov.
