Monthly Department webinars on supports and monitoring

2/18/2026

Sessions offer education and resources for special education directors

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce hosts monthly virtual information sessions for special education directors on a variety of topics related to supports and monitoring. These sessions take place the first Thursday of every month from 1-2 p.m.

These sessions highlight IDEA Monitoring resources and tools and share frequently asked questions from the field on compliance. The sessions are an opportunity for educational agencies interested in learning more about Special Education resources and how other agencies are improving their special education programs.

The sessions serve as a valuable learning opportunity for educational agencies to build a continuous improvement process focused on improving outcomes for students with disabilities. Attendees will gain insights and practical knowledge that can be applied to enhance their special education programs.

No registration is required – attendees can join by visiting the Department’s Supports and Monitoring Information Session webpage and clicking the link to join the monthly session.
