A new website dedicated to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) provides free online professional development to schools. OhioPBIS.org supports Ohio rule requiring districts to regularly provide PBIS professional development.

Register for Armed Forces Career Commitment Celebration by Feb. 28 or plan a local event

There’s still time for students to register for the March 7 All-Ohio United States Armed Forces Career Commitment Celebration. Registration closes Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 11:59 p.m. The Department also has resources for districts and schools to plan local military signing day celebrations.

Imagination Library mails free books to Ohio’s young children

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio sends one book each month to children until their fifth birthday. Marion City Schools is an exemplar of how schools can partner to promote this resource to give more children access to books.
