New Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) professional development website available

A new website dedicated to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) provides online professional development to schools at no cost. The site includes flexible, on-demand video modules broken into short 15- to 20-minute learning chapters with examples of best practices. These modules support Ohio rule that establishes various requirements for districts to regularly provide PBIS professional development.

The current videos feature interviews with educators, staff, students and administrators from schools across Ohio. OhioPBIS.org is intended for all members of the school community, regardless of their roles. Certificates are available, and all modules have Ohio-approved designation through the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association.

Leadership teams should contact the regional state support team or local educational service center for more advanced training.
