INFOhio launches Harvest of the Month Open Space group

1/21/2025

Harvest of the Month lessons, training sessions for K-12 educators

The Ohio Harvest of the Month campaign promotes the use of seasonally available local products in Ohio schools and communities to increase students’ nutritious food consumption and encourage their interest and curiosity in new foods, supporting a lifetime of healthy eating.

The Ohio Harvest of the Month group, hosted on INFOhio's Open Space platform, provides Ohio K-12 educators with high-quality, standards-aligned lessons featuring the Ohio Harvest of the Month agricultural items and creates opportunities to connect classrooms with the cafeteria.

To help educators navigate the Open Space platform, the Department and INFOhio staff are offering two training sessions.

Visit the Department’s Farm to School webpage for more information or contact Farm to School Education Specialist Rebecca Naab.
