Amplifying Graduation Pathways: $1 million for programs supporting alternative demonstrations of competency

1/10/2022

Recently, the Department announced a new funding opportunity totaling $1 million for nonprofit organizations, career-technical planning districts, registered apprenticeship training providers and institutes of higher education. Grantees can receive a maximum of $100,000. Funds can be used to support identified target school districts developing or expanding programming related to Ohio’s alternative demonstrations of competency in the long-term graduation requirements. A list of the identified target districts is available in the request for applications.

Grant applications are due Feb. 4. Details about how to apply are available on the Department’s graduation webpage.

This is a reimbursement grant made possible by Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) Funds. Contact Sara Watson with questions.
