7/28/2026
Department training opportunities scheduled for 2026-2027
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce’s Report Card and Special Education Accountability Training Series will return for the 2026-2027 school year. These sessions include multiple joint topic trainings to showcase just how closely Ohio School Report Cards and Special Education Profile data overlap.
To kick off these training opportunities, the Department will host a session titled Laying the Groundwork – Building Effective Data Teams. This session will provide districts with a foundational understanding of Ohio School Report Cards and IDEA Special Education Profiles, including key terminology, data sources, and essential reporting processes. It will also introduce core concepts in data literacy, data teams, and available resources to prepare participants for the year’s remaining sessions. Please note that registration is required.
The first session will take place Aug. 12 from 1-3 p.m.
