Ohio’s Curriculum Support Guide webinar series begins in August

Instruction Partners, in partnership with the Department, is hosting a five-part webinar series that will detail how to use the Ohio Curriculum Support Guide. The guide helps educators select, implement and sustain new, high-quality instructional materials. Specific webinar topics include developing a rationale, adopting and launching new instructional materials, determining educator support and gathering data that support instruction for all Ohio students. 

High-quality instructional materials can be a powerful lever for academic achievement for all Ohio students, especially as educators work to accelerate student learning. Having an aligned, accessible and usable curriculum is key to addressing disrupted learning and promoting equitable educational practices.

This webinar series will be most beneficial to district leaders and members of school-based teams who are involved with curriculum adoption and implementation decisions. Each webinar builds upon the previous webinar; therefore, meeting hosts encourage teams to attend all five webinars to engage in the reflection process. 

Webinars will take place from 2-3:30 p.m. on the following dates: 

• Aug. 2 
• Aug. 3 
• Aug. 4 
• Aug. 10 
• Aug. 11
