Get ready for family-friendly fun at Ohio State Fair

This year’s Ohio State Fair will showcase the countless reasons why Ohio is the heart of it all. The Ohio State Fair will feature family-friendly entertainment, interactive educational displays, sporting competitions, roving performers, youth agricultural competitions, an eight-acre natural resources park, and much more. The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is partnering with the Ohio Department of Higher Education to showcase Ohio’s history of space exploration at a booth located in the Lausche Youth Exploration Space.

The Ohio State Fair begins July 24 and runs through Aug. 4. There are several special days designated, including:

• Wednesday, July 24: Opening Day 
• Thursday, July 25: Sensory Friendly Morning (10 a.m.-1 p.m.)
• Friday, July 26: RecoveryOhio Mental Health Day
• Sunday, July 28: Military and Veteran Day
• Tuesday, July 30: Senior Citizen Day
• Thursday, Aug. 1: College/Postsecondary Career or Technical School Day
