Self-Report on Identification and Services for Students Who Are Gifted due Aug. 27

The annual Self-Report on Identification and Services for Students Who Are Gifted now is available in the Gifted Education Compliance application through the OH|ID portal. This required report asks school districts to provide information related to district practices, programming and policies for gifted education. It also provides information the Department uses to develop resources and professional development related to gifted education. The report is due no later than Aug. 27. However, districts needing additional time to submit the report due to issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic should contact staff in the Office for Exceptional Children to establish a new timeframe for submission. 
 
Instructions for accessing and submitting the gifted self-report through the OH|ID portal are available on the Department website. For questions, please contact gifted@education.ohio.gov.
