Prepare for platform migration of Department courses and transcripts
In May, trainings delivered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce will migrate from the current learning management system to Ohio Learn. This process will impact existing courses, transcripts, and deadlines, including required Science of Reading trainings.
In-progress trainings must be completed prior to May 7; partially completed work will be lost and restarted in the new system. Courses will launch on the new platform on May 11. If a course cannot be completed by May 7, please wait to begin it until May 11.
Ohio Learn uses the highly rated Cornerstone OnDemand learning platform, making it easier for Ohio educators to access content that helps them grow their careers. It also provides a public portal to allow the Department to make online training available to anyone with an OHID. Training offered by other state agencies will be available from the same website.
As the launch of the new system approaches, the Department will provide additional updates about course migration, transcripts, and deadlines for completing courses on the current LMS platform. Direct questions or concerns to LMSSupport@education.ohio.gov.
