Virtual meetup for related service professionals planned for March 15

The Department is hosting a virtual meetup for related service professionals March 15 at 3:30 p.m. This event is specially designed for Ohio’s special education related service professionals and administrators, but all are welcome to attend.

This session will continue the February 2022 discussion about service provider workload and caseload. A panel of related service supervisors from Ohio’s urban school districts will join the conversation.

Panelists include:

• Torie C. Ciccarone, speech language pathologist supervisor, Columbus City Schools
• Amy Comford, occupational and physical therapist supervisor, Columbus City Schools
• Lynn Simonetti, occupational and physical therapist supervisor, Columbus City Schools
• Davida Swanson, lead speech language pathologist, Cincinnati Public Schools
• Karen Thompson-Repas, occupational and physical therapy director, Cleveland Metropolitan School District
• Erin Zink, lead for occupational and physical therapy staff, Cincinnati Public Schools
