Register now for Ohio STEM Learning Network session at Battelle

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and the Ohio STEM Learning Network will host an in-person session about STEM and STEAM school designation on April 9 from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. at Battelle in Columbus.

The session will guide school administrators, STEM coordinators, and educators through the full STEM and STEAM school designation process, offering clarity on each step from initial application to final review. Attendees will receive a thorough, user-friendly walkthrough of the new Ohio STEM and STEAM designation rubric, including its structure, rating system, and expectations for demonstrating high-quality STEM or STEAM learning environments.

Whether a school is seeking first-time designation or preparing for redesignation, this deep dive will equip teams with the knowledge and tools needed to confidently navigate requirements and strengthen their submissions.
