Blended and remote learning data collection begins April 1

Traditional school districts, joint vocational school districts, community schools, STEM schools and chartered nonpublic schools must report the total number of students engaged in blended learning or remote learning for the 2021-2022 school year. The Department is partnering with the Management Council of the Ohio Education Computer Network to collect this data as required under Senate Bill 229.

For districts and schools with a Remote Learning Plan or Blended Learning Declaration on file with the Department, the Management Council will send superintendents a notification to complete the data collection. View a sample of the data collection form. The collection period will be April 1-30. The Department will compile the data and report it to the Ohio General Assembly.
