5/16/2022

The Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC) is a partnership between the Buckeye Association of School Administrators and Ohio Department of Education. Its goal is to provide educators with structures and resources to develop shared and effective leadership at every level. OLAC’s latest offerings include:

  • On May 20, 9 a.m.-noon, attend “My Favorite OLAC Tools and How to Put Them to Use Immediately.” During the session, hear from state support team directors from across Ohio as they share their favorite OLAC tools and how to begin using them immediately for school improvement work. Learn more about this free session and register on OLAC’s website.
  • The OLAC Lead the Way podcast has a new episode, “Prioritizing Teaching and Learning.” In this podcast, two regional state support team consultants and a district superintendent share their views on how the prioritization of teaching and learning impacts equity in a variety of settings. Listen now.
  • OLAC’s Leadership for Early Childhood Care and Education module recently received the Ohio Approved Designation. Once participants complete the module, they can earn credit for it through the Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association. The module provides a bridge between early childhood care and elementary school leadership. School administrators hear from those outside the school system who care for children from birth to age 3 or 4. Explore the free module.
