Workshops for troubleshooting Ohio School Report Card data

5/20/2024

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is leveraging the EMIS Alliance Grant and Information Technology Centers (ITCs) to organize in-person workshops that will provide practical, troubleshooting opportunities by addressing reports available in the Secure Data Center and various data sets that impact Ohio School Report Card measures. The “Tools for Troubleshooting Data Associated with Report Card Measures” workshop assists districts and schools in reviewing their data and emphasizes the importance of building strong data teams that actively engage in ensuring accurate data reporting.

These workshops are designed for at least two district or school administrative staff members and the EMIS coordinator to collaborate. The target audience for these trainings includes superintendents, assistant superintendents, building and district administrators, EMIS coordinators, and guidance counselors.

ITCs will offer the workshop throughout the state in late May and early to mid-June, based on their training calendar schedules. For specific workshop dates and registration information, contact an ITC.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is committed to providing access and inclusion and reasonable accommodation in its services, activities, programs and employment opportunities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws. To request a reasonable accommodation due to a disability, please contact Aleshia McNutt, ADA coordinator, at ADAaccommodation@education.ohio.gov or (614) 387-2200 (voice) as soon as possible and no less than three business days before the convening event.
