Annual profiles released as planning tool, statewide overview

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Medicaid, released the sixth annual Ohio Healthy Students Profiles for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Ohio Healthy Students Profiles Overview provides a statewide picture of health care interactions, health conditions, and education indicators for the 707,065 Medicaid-participating students in Ohio schools, accounting for 43% of Ohio's K-12 public school enrollment. Educators, community health partners, and other stakeholders may use the profiles as a planning tool to help students overcome obstacles to learning.
