New Resource: STEM Education and Business Advisory Council Quality Practices crosswalk

The Department has created a resource that aligns the expectations of high-performing Business Advisory Councils and STEM-designated schools. The Integral Role of Business Advisory Councils in STEM/STEAM Education lays out a crosswalk between the existing STEM/STEAM Education Attributes and Business Advisory Council Quality Practices. The crosswalk demonstrates how Business Advisory Council Quality Practices align to the STEM/STEAM-designation rubric attributes and vice versa. Including both perspectives optimizes transparency and enables individuals with either a Business Advisory Council background or a STEM education background to easily navigate the document and find points of alignment. Essentially, this document explains that if STEM practices are implemented authentically, Business Advisory Council Quality Practices will be met, and if Business Advisory Councils implement the highest quality practices, this will advance STEM practices as well.   implement the highest quality practices, this will advance STEM practices as well.
