Help students participate in Chief Science Officers program, grant funding creates available openings

5/6/2024

Chief Science Officers (CSO) is an international organization started by the Arizona SciTech Institute for students in grades 6-12 to develop STEM leadership and potential in their communities. Next school year, thanks to an Ohio STEM SAIL grant from TIES, Ohio will have 200 CSO seats and five in-person training sessions for students around the state conducted by the SciTech Institute at no cost to Ohio schools and communities.

School districts can learn more about bringing this opportunity to their areas for 2024-2025 by going to the TIES CSO webpage. The deadline to schedule a meeting with TIES is May 31.

Please contact Christa Krohn at christakrohn@tiesteach.org or 443-421-1076 with questions about the CSO program in Ohio.
