New model curriculum supports fine arts instruction

Resources, templates for implementing standards and instructional strategies

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has approved Ohio’s Model Curriculum for Fine Arts, which is aligned with the 2024 Ohio's Learning Standards for Fine Arts.

The model curriculum includes a separate document for each of the five fine arts disciplines. In addition to the model curriculum, the Department’s corresponding webpage links to Ohio’s Model Curriculum Implementation Guide for Fine Arts to focus on standards, instructional strategies, and assessments, including templates and guidance to create high-quality arts learning experiences.
