11/21/2022

The Tax Credit Certificate Program for Work-Based Learning Experiences provides a tax credit to eligible businesses that employ eligible career-technical students.

Businesses can use this nonrefundable credit against their aggregate tax liability. To take advantage of the credit, participating businesses must obtain a tax credit certificate from the Department. Eligible businesses may include employers that are taxpayers or pass-through entities, such as Limited Liability Companies. The business also must employ eligible career-technical students. For more information about eligibility, visit the Department's website.

The Department is hosting a webinar to review the tax credit certificate application process Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. Register here for the webinar.

The tax credit application will be open Jan. 1-Feb. 1, 2023.
