Student Career Day at I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama

Cleveland auto show offers students career exploration opportunities

To introduce high school, vocational, and college automotive students to the aftermarket hot rod industry, Summit Racing Equipment, in conjunction with the I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama, developed the Student Career Day program. Student Career Day takes place at various Auto-Rama shows and other International Show Car Association-sanctioned events throughout the United States.

Students participating in Student Career Day enter the I-X Center in Cleveland March 28, 2025, before the show is open to the public at 11 a.m.

The students will attend a welcome program, which includes talks by key industry representatives, renowned car builders, and sponsors. After the reception, students can walk through the show to get an up-close look at the vehicles and have an opportunity to speak with car owners and event sponsors. The welcome program starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. on March 28, 2025.

All students, instructors, and chaperones can purchase $10 tickets that will be exchanged for three-day wristbands upon entrance into the show; the wristband will allow them access to the show from Friday at 9 a.m. through Sunday’s close of show.

Bus parking is free. Attendees must purchase Career Day tickets in advance as the box office will not sell Career Day tickets. Tickets will be sent electronically to the purchaser.
