This webpage provides information on addressing attendance concerns resulting from illness or quarantine and implementing Ohio’s attendance laws using a supportive approach.

The Department launched a new compliance monitoring system to help transportation officials identify gaps in compliance and allow districts to share best practices. This statewide pilot program is scheduled for full implementation by April 1, 2022. Districts also should take note of new and amended provisions that pertain to pupil transportation in the most recent state budget bill.
