Substitute teachers play a vital role in schools, and the Ohio Department of Education is dedicated to supporting these educators.

The Department has created a new webpage through the Human Capital Resource Center that highlights resources and supports for both new and experienced substitute teachers. The webpage also includes best practices for schools and districts seeking to support and develop substitute teachers.
