Florence Nightingale Day offers opportunities for students to learn about statistics and data science

9/12/2022

The Caucus for Women in Statistics presents the fifth annual Florence Nightingale Day. The Ohio State University will host the event in person and virtually Oct. 29 from 9:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Middle and high school students who are at least 13 years old and not in college or university are welcome to attend. This event is open to students in public and nonpublic schools as part of an international event to celebrate women in statistics and data science, and to promote the science of data. Students can discover career opportunities in statistics and big data, take part in fun activities and meet with industry mentors.
