Ohio is creating a new educational attainment website and needs the help of school counselors and other educators to develop it. The Attainment Website Initiative aspires to create a single, user-friendly portal that streamlines and personalizes access to career and educational resources.

Honor teachers and students through the Partners in Education program

During the academic school year, the Ohio Lottery accepts statewide nominations of outstanding teachers and students. Every month, the Ohio Lottery holds a random drawing of all nominees and awards a Teacher of the Month and an Academic All Star in each of the Ohio Lottery’s nine regions. Award recipients receive gift cards and prizes.

Meet and greet event to learn about high school student exchanges

In collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and BridgeUSA, the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) will host a free school “Meet & Greet” Oct. 26 at 5 p.m.  This will be an opportunity to learn more about exchange programs and recruitment agencies.
