Seeking nominations for the 2023 RISE Award to honor classified school employees

Nominations for the Recognizing Inspirational School Employees (RISE) Award are being accepted through Oct. 6. The RISE Award honors classified school employees who provide exemplary service to their schools, students, colleagues and communities.

Congress created the award in 2019, and the U.S. Department of Education oversees the program. Each state may submit two RISE finalists for the national selection process in November.
