Public comment on special education methodology and target setting

The Department is seeking public comment from educators, parents, and caregivers of children with disabilities on methodology and targets for special education indicators. Interested participants can attend open office hours Wednesday, Oct. 2. Public comment submissions are due Oct. 4.

Attendance Awareness Month

Students, teachers, and community members are encouraged to take a stretch break and dance during the 10 a.m. hour any day this week to celebrate Attendance Awareness Month with an at-TEN-dance!

District data roll-up form available

Ohio law allows traditional public school districts to combine the data of certain startup community schools with data from district-operated schools to calculate district performance on the Ohio School Report Cards. Districts must submit the required materials to the Department by Nov. 8 for the 2024-2025 school year.
