The 2024 Ohio School Report Cards show most districts earned overall ratings of three stars or higher, meaning they met state performance expectations. Individual virtual work sessions to learn more about the report card measures and how to use data to drive school improvement are available.

AEDs in Ohio Schools

Effective Oct. 24, Ohio law requires automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to be placed in every school in Ohio. The Department recently posted information to help schools adopt emergency action plans for the use of AEDs, along with resources for training staff as required by law.
