June 13 2023 - Bus Driver in-service with Jesus Villahermosa

This driver crisis training will explore responding to imminent threat or proximate danger. Participants will learn how to use the C.L.E.A.R. acronym to be more aware of surroundings while interacting others to realize when it’s time to implement a plan of action to mitigate the risk of an assault. In addition to awareness and body language recognition used to identify some of the precursors of violence, participants will learn about responding to an unauthorized boarding of the bus by a dangerous individual.
