School bus drivers throughout the eight regions in Ohio may participate in regional road-e-o competitions on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The road-e-o is designed to test and increase their operational and safety skills. Top participants at each regional road-e-o move on to compete at the state-level competition.

This year, the Ohio School Bus Driver State ROAD-E-O will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024. This event will host the top six drivers from the eight regions throughout the state of Ohio. The road-e-o is designed to test and increase their operational and safety skills.

The first Monday in May is designated School Bus Driver Appreciation Day by the Ohio legislature. This is an opportunity for Ohioans to increase public recognition of the vital functions that school bus drivers serve in safely transporting students to and from school daily.
