Effective April 9, Ohio law requires that all public school districts, regardless of their open enrollment policy, accept students for open enrollment if their parent or guardian is an active duty military member stationed in Ohio. Students that are open-enrolled under the new law must be provided transportation services under RC 3313.981 in the same as any other interdistrict-enrolled students.
