AI in Education Resources

AI is reshaping industries at an unprecedented pace, prompting a reevaluation of the skills and knowledge students will require for success. As AI continues to evolve, it will affect a diverse range of jobs, encompassing both those that demand advanced expertise and those involving routine tasks. At the forefront of innovation, InnovateOhio, in partnership with The AI Education Project (aiEDU) announced the launch of an AI Toolkit for Ohio’s K-12 school districts. Released in February 2024, the AI Toolkit continues to serve as a resource for Ohio's education community.

Subsequently, in May 2024, Ohio’s AI in Education Coalition developed a comprehensive strategy to ensure Ohio's K-12 education system is prepared for and can help lead the AI revolution. The Coalition's Strategy Report identifies key themes illustrating how AI is transforming the educational landscape and workplace, and includes recommendations for schools, institutions of higher education, and the State of Ohio.

More information on these recommendations and related resources will be added to this page as it becomes available.
