ohiomeansjobs k-12 NEW FEATURE
Job and Family Services and Monster Government Solutions contracted with StartSOLE to integrate the PortfoliOH work-based learning tracker into the OhioMeansJobs K-12 Student Profile. This initiative is a significant step forward in aligning with the Department of Education and Workforce’s overarching goal of equipping Ohio K-12 students with high-quality career exploration and planning experiences.
The PortfoliOH work-based learning tool is Ohio’s free digital resource that makes work-based learning experiences count. Student’s can record work-based learning activities such as internships, job shadows, school-based projects, and community activities. It helps students track their growth, show their skills, and connect school learning to real-world opportunities by allowing them to see what they learned and the skills they gained.
