Law & Public Safety Career Field Standards Revision Teacher Panels
We are pleased to invite you to join our upcoming teacher work groups, which will be responsible for revising our current set of standards. Facilitated by ODEW staff, these workgroups will carefully be used to articulate your experience with these courses and in this industry into the new set of standards for the Law and Public Safety career field. By leveraging your expertise, you will actively contribute to proposing competency revisions that will ultimately enhance the quality and relevance of Ohio's education programs.
Below you will find the dates and times of the scheduled Industry Panels and the topics associated with them:
- P6 Pathway: Emergency Medical Services
- 11/4/2025 2:30 – 4:30PM Microsoft Teams
** Please note we will be reviewing Firefighting at a later date.
- 11/13/2025 2:30 – 4:30PM Microsoft Teams
- 11/18/2025 2:30 – 4:30PM Microsoft Teams
** Teachers participating in P1 should attend both sessions.
