Student Transportation (FP) Record
For the past several years, community schools that transport students have been reporting the Student Transportation (FP) Record. This reporting was necessary for funding purposes. However, this funding is now based on data in the School Foundation Payment System (SFPS). This change was confirmed too late to delete the record for FY23. The record is being deleted in FY24 (see
EMIS change 24-23).
FY24 EMIS Change Open for Public Comment
Ohio Law requires EMIS to create a process by which users of the system can review and provide public comment on new or updated EMIS Guidelines. EMIS changes that are subject to this process must be posted
on the website for 30 days for public comment, 30 days for the Department's response to comments, and then another 30 days for public review before changes are considered “final”.
