FY25 Retention Data Appeal
Today is the only day for districts to appeal their FY25 retention data. Retention appeal applications are due
Friday, Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. The deadline to submit corrected data in EMIS for approved appeals is
Saturday, Sept. 7 at 5 p.m.
These data may affect measures on the 2024 Ohio School Report Cards as well as state funding received by the district. This will be the only opportunity to appeal these data. For more details about this appeal, visit the

FY24 Child Outcome Summary Assessment, Funding, and Tier 1 Dyslexia Screener Data Appeals Closing
Today is the final day for districts to appeal their FY24 child outcome summary assessment, funding, and tier 1 dyslexia screener data. For more information about this appeal, visit the

FY24 Report Card Data Review and Verification Closing
Today will be the last opportunity for superintendents to complete the required review of their 2024 student, assessment, calendar, staff, course, reading diagnostic, and exiting student follow-up data reported in EMIS. Superintendents must signify whether these data are accurate as they complete and submit the 2024 Data Review for the Report Card form.
EMIS Data Review and Verification forms are part of EMIS reporting described in
Ohio Revised Code 3301.0714. Superintendents are legally required to review and certify the quality of data, as noted in
Ohio Administrative Code 3301-14-01 (G). Failing to complete the process may trigger progressive sanctions as outlined in
Ohio Administrative Code 3301-17.
