3/20/2023

FY22 eSchool Missing Test Data Appeal Open
From Monday, March 20 through Friday, April 14, eSchools may appeal their FY22 eSchool missing test data. The 2022_STUDENT_ESCHOOL_1YEAR_SSIDs_20220930 file provided to eSchools indicates which assessments ODE has marked as missing for a given student for the first year. The file can be used to assist schools during the eSchool missing test appeals process.

Each eSchool’s file can contain up to two tabs, MISSED_ANY_ES_SSIDS and/or MISSED_ANY_EOC_SSIDS.

The MISSED_ANY_ES_SSIDS tab contains the columns SSID, IRN, GRADE_LEVEL, G3_ELEM_READ_REQ_MET, G4_ELEM_READ_REQ_MET, G5_ELEM_READ_REQ_MET, G6_ELEM_READ_REQ_MET, G7_ELEM_READ_REQ_MET, G8_ELEM_READ_REQ_MET, G3_ELEM_MATH_REQ_MET, G4_ELEM_MATH_REQ_MET, G5_ELEM_MATH_REQ_MET, G6_ELEM_MATH_REQ_MET, G7_ELEM_MATH_REQ_MET, G8_ELEM_MATH_REQ_MET, G5_ELEM_SCI_REQ_MET, G8_ELEM_SCI_REQ_MET, Identifier. The GRADE_LEVEL column indicates the grade level of the student during the FY2022 school year. A student in grade 3 must have taken a grade 3 or higher exam in reading and in math. A student in grade 4 must have taken a grade 4 or higher exam in reading and in math. A student in grade 5 must have taken a grade 5 or higher exam in reading, math, and science. A student in grade 6 must have taken a grade 6 or higher exam in reading and in math. A student in grade 7 must have taken a grade 7 or higher exam in reading and in math. A student in grade 8 must have taken a grade 8 or higher exam in reading, math, and science. A “NO” in any of the *_REQ_MET columns indicates that ODE does not have a record of the assessment being taken and submitted through EMIS. A “YES” indicates that the requirement was met and an “NA” means that the requirement was not applicable to the student.

The MISSED_ANY_EOC_SSIDS tab contains the columns SSID, IRN, GRADE_LEVEL_LY, GRADE_LEVEL, HS_TEST_PATH_NEW, READ_ACT_REQ_MET_LY, ENGL_ACT_REQ_MET_LY, MATH_ACT_REQ_MET_LY, SCI_ACT_REQ_MET_LY, READ_SAT_REQ_MET_LY, MATH_SAT_REQ_MET_LY, READ_ACT_REQ_MET, ENGL_ACT_REQ_MET, MATH_ACT_REQ_MET, SCI_ACT_REQ_MET, READ_SAT_REQ_MET, MATH_SAT_REQ_MET, ELA1_EOC_REQ_MET, ELA2_EOC_REQ_MET, ALG1_EOC_REQ_MET, GEOM_EOC_REQ_MET, MTH1_EOC_REQ_MET, MTH2_EOC_REQ_MET, GOVM_EOC_REQ_MET, HIST_EOC_REQ_MET, BIOL_EOC_REQ_MET, identifier. The GRADE_LEVEL_LY column indicates the grade level of the student during the 2021 school year and the GRADE_LEVEL column indicates the grade level of the student during the 2022 school year. Students in grade 11 are required to take either ACT or SAT exams. Repeat 11th grade students, i.e. GRADE_LEVEL_LY and GRADE_LEVEL are both equal to 11, are not required to have taken ACT or SAT exams in the 2022 school year if they took all of the ACT or SAT exams during school year 2021. The column HS_TEST_PATH_NEW indicates the number of EOC exams the student needs to take based on the year the student first entered high school. Students with HS_TEST_PATH_NEW  of EOC_6 are not required to take the ELA 1 exam while students with HS_TEST_PATH_NEW of EOC_7 are required to take the ELA 1 exam. Students are required to have taken the EOC exams associated with the high school courses they took during school year 2022. If a student already took an exam in a prior year that is accounted for and the requirement is met. A “NO” in any of the *_REQ_MET columns indicates that ODE does not have a record of the assessment being taken and submitted through EMIS. A “YES” indicates that the requirement was met and an “NA” means that the requirement was not applicable to the student.
