Early Childhood Education Grant for Administrators

The Early Childhood Education Grant is an important investment in Ohio’s youngest learners. The grant provides early learning programs with an opportunity to provide high quality, comprehensive learning environments and address outcomes and goals essential for healthy development and academic, social and emotional success. 

Programs awarded the Early Childhood Education Grant must demonstrate they meet high-quality standards by achieving a 3-, 4-, or 5- star rating in Step Up To Quality, Ohio’s tiered quality rating and improvement system.

The Ohio Department of Education Office of Early Learning and School Readiness is pleased to announce the recipients of the Early Childhood Education Innovation Grant. The Department received many outstanding applications from Early Childhood Education Grantees and has awarded $1 million to 25 programs. The Early Childhood Education Innovation Grant is intended to provide funds for the expansion of services which promote high quality care and education and innovation. Find the list of grantees here. The Early Childhood Education Innovation Grant is a one of many investments and priorities in Future Forward Ohio, the state strategic priorities to help students recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
