Emergency Assistance to Nonpublic Schools (EANS) Open Office Hours 

The Office of Federal Programs is hosting a monthly recurring EANS Office Hours every third Tuesday February 15, 2022 through September 30, 2024 . During the Office Hours, the Office of Federal Programs EANS team will be present to answer questions that nonpublic schools or Education Service Centers have regarding the EANS program.

Maintenance of Equity Local Education Agency Training

The Office of Federal Programs is hosting two Maintenance of Equity (MOEquity) trainings. This will cover the new American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSER) requirement, MOEquity. It will include background information, impact for districts and examples.

FY23 ED STEPS Cohort Trainings 

The Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Federal Programs is pleased to host two training sessions starting in January 2022. FY22 Monthly Trainings

New fall Federal Programs Monthly Topics and New Coordinators Academy Sessions

The Department is pleased to announce new monthly training sessions for federal programs starting in September 2021. Two types of trainings will be provided.
  • Federal Programs Monthly Trainings: Each session covers a different relevant topic to current federal program coordinators and staff. Please visit Federal Programs Monthly Topic Sessions page for more information.
  • New Coordinators Academy Trainings: New coordinators academy covers topics relevant to new coordinators with two or less years of experience. Please visit New Coordinators Academy Sessions page for more information.
All sessions will include a presentation or demonstration related to the session topic followed by an opportunity for questions and answers.
These sessions will occur on Microsoft Teams. Attendees will be able to join using the Teams meeting link shared in the STARS event. Meeting hosts also will record the sessions to share with attendees following the session.
