One Funding Application

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (DEW) is replacing the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Process (CCIP) with the ED STEPS One Funding Application (OFA). OFA allows users to maintain grant applications and submit for award reimbursement within a single system.

  • The ED STEPS OFA soft-launched in Spring 2025 and will contain pilot grant applications users can apply to for State Fiscal Year 2026. All other grants will remain in CCIP until the full One Funding Application launch.
  • Applications that are active for State Fiscal Year 2025 in CCIP will need to complete a Final Expenditure Report.
  • The CCIP will progressively be faded out and retired over the coming years. It will remain accessible through OH|ID.
Core Grant Applications Remaining in the CCIP for FY26
  • Consolidated application (including most ESEA Title grants, IDEA-B and Early Childhood Special Education grants)
  • 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant
  • School Improvement Grant
  • Expanding Opportunities for Each Child Grant
  • McKinney-Vento
  • Additional entitlement and competitive grants
Grants Piloted in OFA
