Career-Technical Education Perkins Planning and Funding
The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, commonly referred to as Perkins V, is a bipartisan reauthorization of previous Carl D. Perkins federal funding. Perkins V represents the largest federal investment in career and technical education.
In the Office of Career-Technical Education, the Administrative Field Services (AFS) Team oversees the annual allocation and implementation of Perkins funds through secondary career-technical planning district (CTPD) lead districts to support CTE delivery throughout the CTPD.
