School Improvement Grants Monitoring

Monitoring for Expanding Opportunities for Each Child Non-Competitive (EOEC NC) grant and Title I Non-Competitive Supplemental School Improvement (TI NC SSI) grant will begin in January 2026 for the 2025-2026 school year (Fiscal Year 2026). As part of monitoring, grantees are required to answer programmatic and fiscal questions. Select grantees will receive a mandatory on-site review, mandatory virtual desk review, or mandatory technical assistance review. Grantees that were selected for mandatory on-site, desk review, or technical assistance monitoring were notified via email in January 2026. All other grantees have the option to submit the survey as a self-survey.

The Monitoring survey asks grantees to reflect on their data, effectiveness of strategies used, and impact on students from the 2025-2026 school year (Fiscal Year 2026). Organizations will need to provide relevant documentation to support their answers.

Note: Monitoring of the Title I Non-Competitive Supplemental School Improvement grant and the Expanding Opportunities for Each Child Non-Competitive grant are now part of the School Improvement Grants and Support Schools Tool monitoring survey. They are no longer part of the Consolidated ESEA monitoring with the Office of Federal Programs.
