A Family Roadmap is designed for use by and with English learner families to assist family engagement with schools and support the education of their children. Access the Family Roadmap including interactive handouts, webpages, and videos.
An Instructional Roadmap provides guidance and tools for school educators and instructional leaders. Access the Instructional Roadmap.
An Administrator's Resource Kit assists district and school administrators in creating and sustaining an effective English Learner Program at the local level. Access the Administrator’s Resource Kit.

Each resource can be accessed and reviewed individually. These resources can also be accessed and reviewed as a collection depending on the needs and interests of the user.

English learners are those who take the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA) until they receive a score of proficient. English learners require specialized supports to develop the English language and literacy skills needed to participate successfully in the school curriculum.

These resources aim to bolster academic, student wellness, and college and career outcomes for Ohio's English learners. Resources were created through a collaborative effort between the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and The Ohio State University's Center on Education and Training for Employment along with a dedicated group of family advocates, community leaders, school district staff, and teachers.
