The Ohio Department of Education, on behalf of the State Board of Education, administers the ethical standards for educators to help ensure students experience a safe, healthy and supportive school environment.

As part of its responsibilities, the department collects data showing the number and type of allegations of educator misconduct investigated and the disciplinary actions taken by the State Board of Education.
