Resource Guide for Establishing an LPDC

The statewide system of Local Professional Development Committees (LPDCs) assures that credentialed educators regularly renew their educator certificate or license through appropriate professional development. In this way, Ohio maintains the focus on high-quality teaching and leadership that has made Ohio's schools successful at educating Ohio's students.

The following two resources offer information to assist the staff at local educational organizations, schools and districts navigate the process of establishing and maintaining LPDCs. The Resource Guide is a companion document for the voiced-over PowerPoint; the Resource Guide provides additional details for the topics presented in the PowerPoint.
